ASCEND Level 2

“Transforming pilots into UAS inspection pilots” - Prepares students for real-world inspection operations on critical infrastructure and mitigations on the unique hazards they will experience. Students receive instruction on conducting inspection missions on utility transmission & distribution, communications structures, transportation and lighting structures, and effective photogrammetry. Students also receive training to address ground activities related to inspection work such as crew resource management, risk analysis & mitigations, OHV, project planning, and easement operations. To successfully complete, students must demonstrates both knowledge and skills.
